SERB Pharmaceuticals has closed its acquisition of the European and Middle East and North Africa development and commercialization rights to Idefirix (imlifidase) from Hansa Biopharma, marking a significant expansion of SERB's rare disease portfolio in those regions.
Idefirix, known generically as imlifidase, is a specialized biologic therapy that had previously been developed and commercialized by Hansa Biopharma in the European market. The completed deal transfers those rights to SERB Pharmaceuticals, positioning the company as the new commercial steward of the treatment across Europe and the broader MENA territory.
