Heidmar Maritime Acquires Q-Shipping, Adds Nine Vessels
Heidmar Maritime Holdings has closed its purchase of Dutch firm Q-Shipping B.V., expanding its managed fleet and opening offices in two new countries.
Heidmar Maritime Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: HMR) announced Monday that it has completed the acquisition of Q-Shipping B.V., a Netherlands-based ship management and crewing company, in a deal that immediately enlarges the Athens- and New York-headquartered firm's operational footprint across Europe and beyond.
The transaction brings nine vessels into Heidmar's managed fleet, a tangible boost to the company's scale at a time when third-party ship management is drawing fresh investor attention. Alongside the added tonnage, Heidmar gains an established operating presence in the Netherlands and Turkey — two strategically significant maritime hubs — along with a dedicated crewing capability based in Ukraine.

The Ukraine crewing operation is a noteworthy element of the deal, given that the country has remained a significant source of qualified seafarers despite ongoing geopolitical pressures. By formalizing that capability through Q-Shipping's existing infrastructure, Heidmar appears positioned to strengthen crew supply continuity for its growing managed portfolio.
For Heidmar, which has been building its ship management platform since listing on the Nasdaq, the Q-Shipping acquisition signals a strategy centered on geographic diversification and service-line expansion rather than pure vessel ownership. Adding specialized crewing and management expertise in multiple jurisdictions could differentiate the company in a competitive third-party management market.
