Kaspi.kz Wins Turkish Approval to Acquire Rabobank A.Ş.
Kazakhstan's Kaspi.kz secured Turkish banking regulatory approval to buy Rabobank A.Ş., with the deal set to close in July 2026.
Kazakhstan-based fintech giant Kaspi.kz (Nasdaq: KSPI) announced Tuesday it has received regulatory clearance from Türkiye's Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) to acquire Rabobank A.Ş., a fully licensed Turkish bank, marking a significant cross-border expansion move for the Almaty-headquartered company.
The deal is expected to close in July 2026, pending the satisfaction of standard closing conditions. Rabobank A.Ş. operates as a fully licensed bank within Türkiye, giving Kaspi.kz immediate access to an established banking infrastructure in one of the region's largest emerging economies.

Kaspi.kz has grown into one of Central Asia's most prominent super-app platforms, combining e-commerce, payments, and financial services under a single digital umbrella. Its Nasdaq listing has raised the company's international profile, and the Turkish acquisition signals an appetite for geographic diversification beyond its home market as it seeks new growth vectors.
